Make a doll!

Hi I'm Natalie, and this is my blog! I'm 23, and live in New Zealand. I'm an avid crocheter (some would say rabid)! I dabble a little in felting, knitting, dying, and spinning too.

Free Pattern - Purple Mohair Shrug

Here's the pattern for that purple shrug I blogged a couple of days ago.

    Front of Shrug

    Back of Shrug

    Purple Mohair Shrug

Yarn: Shepard, Absolute Mohair 8ply (109m per 50g; wool/mohair blend), about 1.5 balls, shade 7.
    Hook: 6mm (old UK 4, US J)
Gauge: 4st in 1dc, ch1, 1dc, ch1 to 2.5cm (working the next row of dcs into the ch-space of the previous row)

This pattern is written in English notation.

    Ch 70
Row 1: dc in first 5ch, *dc in next ch, ch1, sk 1ch* repeat from * to * another 29 times, dc in last 5 stitches (40 dc, 30 ch)
Row 2: dc in BLO of first 5 dc, *dc in ch-space on previous row, ch1, skip dc in previous row* repeat 30 times, dc in BLO of last 5 stitches (10 dc in BLO, 30 dc, 30 ch)
    Rows 3-44: repeat row 2
    Finish off
Fold lengthwise, and seam the ribbed cuffs together at each end.  Weave in ends.

Please only use this pattern for your own personal use, and abide by the License.  Especially, do not make these to sell!  Thanks.
