Entry: Yum yum, eye candy Sunday, March 19, 2006

Now, excuse the poor photography.  Blair's camera hates to do close ups, not to mention that it's under artificial light and I had to turn the flash off because the glare obscured the piccie.

This, my friends, is what I want to make, right away, from the Happy Hooker.

That little jacket would look so cute on me *sigh* but it'll be awhile before I can afford the yarn.  I'm selling some stuff on TradeMe though, so it's possible that I could have a few spare dollars in a fews weeks.  I hope so!

Isn't the Happy Hooker great! I picked it up Saturday and I'm loving it. I can't decide what to make first :O)

I can't really deicide what to make first either - I mean this jacket is great, but there are so many cool smaller things to make too... It's tough :)

I just picked up the Happy Hooker last night from the library but haven't had a chance to read it properly yet, just skipped to the pattern pages :) That jacket is neat, although I'm not a fan of 3/4 sleeves. I loved the skull jumper, the lacy brown cardigan (with the ribbons, although I plan to make it without those) and the shawl cardigan. The little 50s style bags are neat too. Overall, not as totally in love with it as I'd hoped, but there are some great patterns that I'm hoping will give my creativity a kickstart!

Lhizz - you liked the same things as me, although I'm gonna need a pair of fluffly bunny slippers too ;)

And my folks just bought me the yarn I want for the coat, so as soon as it comes from Chch, I'll be ready to go! I love my mum and dad
